Owner  Jim has trained Muay Thai since 1997  starting under Pat White and  Coach Wayne Gregory. Wayne Gregory was the first American to beat a Thai fighter in the infamous Lumpinee stadium in Bangkok Thailand. Jim has trained in Thailand since 1999  and continues to return to Thailand 2x per year to train and bring home new Knowledge to Chicago Muay Thai..

Jim is also a black belt and former competitor in Shidokan bare knuckle Karate, which incorporates Japanese full contact karate, grappling, and Muay Thai Kickboxing. Jim has trained in Japan, Thailand, Europe, and with Fairtex Muay Thai school in San Francisco. Jim also ranks as a Purple belt in Gracie Brazilian Jiu Jitsu .

All Chicago Muay Thai instructors have competitive fighting experience with many training and competing in Thailand.
